A little known aspect of Kumamoto

I chose the Kusunoki Summer Festival for a little known aspect of Kumamoto. Do you know it? This is a local summer festival. Probably, people who live in near the Kusunoki area know the festival. However, I think that other people do not know it. So I am going to introduce it.

This is a local summer festival. It takes place in Kusunoki central park in August every year. A lot of people who live in near the Kusunoki area go to the festival. Kusunoki central park is near the Kusunoki junior high school. So a lot of the students go to the festival too.

In the festival, there are many kinds of performances for example, karaoke, the Bon dancing, performance by brass band and so on. Various people enjoy doing karaoke and dancing. I belonged to the brass band club when I was in the first year in junior high school. So we played several tunes in the summer festival. It became one of my important memories of my junior high school days.

One of the good points of this festival is that we can meet a lot of local friends. Each of us go to different schools and work for different places. We hardly meet daily life. So this summer festival is good chance for us to meet. We are all looking forward to the festival.

There are a lot of festivals in Kumamoto, but I think the Kusunoki Summer Festival is one of the good festivals of Kumamoto. The festival is not so popular. However, there are a lot of interesting events. You will be able to enjoy it. If you have never gone to the festival, I would like you to go to the festival.

Fukuoka②

I did shopping with my friend in Fukuoka today. I like shopping, so I was looking forward to today. We got up early this morning and we went to ‘Tenjin CORE’ and ‘Soraria Plaza’. Both of us are indecisive people, so we wavered what to buy. There are a lot of shops in Tenjin. So we were enjoy shopping very much. I bought black coat, gray short pants, necklace, black pumps and salmon pink long T-shirt. I was satisfied with them. My friend bought a lot of clothes too. She bought coat, parka, long T-shirt, and so on.After we finished shopping, we went to Kego Park. We could see illuminations. These were very, very beautiful. I like illuminations very much. We can see the illuminations until Christmas. If you have chance to go to Fukuoka, please see them. We had a very nice time today.

Fukuoka①

Today, I went to Fukuoka to go to the EXILE's live concert with my friend. We met at Musashizuka bus stop at 1 p.m. We waited for a bus to go to Fukuoka, but there are too many people. We could not ride in a bus easily, so we waited for about an hour. We went to Fukuoka airport first, then we changed from a bus to a subway. We arrieved at YAHOO DOME at 4:30 p.m. I went to YAHOO DOME for the first time. It was very big and there are a lot of people. I was looking forward to the live concert, because I like EXILE very much. This is the first time for me to go to the EXILE's live concert. I can usually watched them only on TV, but I could I enjoyed the live concert and I was so happy. I really want to go to the live concert next year too. After that, we wemt to a hotel but the hotel was very far from the YAHOO DOME. We took a lot of time to go to the hotel. We were very tired when we arrived at the hotel. So we went to bed as soon as possible. We had a very nice time today. We are going to go shopping tomorrow. I am looking forward to do shopping tomorrow.

BR 2-02: Lost Love

I read ‘Lost Love’. Jan Carew wrote it. I chose this book, because I was interested in the book’s title ‘Lost Love’. There are five stories in this book. These stories titles are Lost Love, The Doll, The Other Man, The Charm and Journey’s End. These are all different stories, but something strange happens in each stories. I am going to introduce the story of ‘Lost Love’ roughly.

I thought that this is a love story when I saw the story’s title Lost Love. However, this is not a normal love story. The main character of this story is a woman. One day, she was lost in the country with her car. Unfortunately, her car stopped because of a lack of petrol. Then, a girl came. She thought the girl was very pretty. So she spoke to her. She explained about her circumstance. The girl invited her to the country. So she went to the country with the girl. She thought something strange when she arrived at the country. She went to the girl’s house. There were the girl’s father, mother. They were very kind people. So she liked them very much. She had a nice time that day. In that night, the girl said “We have to say goodbye tonight. You have to go now.” She did not want to go, because she liked the girl very much and she could not understand why she had to go now. However she decided to go now. After that, she knew the fact. The girl that she met was a ghost, but she liked the girl very much. So she wanted to meet the girl again. After ten years past, she went to the country again.

I enjoyed reading this book. The stories were all interesting and strange. I want to read romance novel next.

community of my part-time work mates

I work for a cake shop. The name of the cake shop is Takarabune. Do you know it? I have worked for one and half years. So I am going to write about the community of my part-time work mates.

There are seven part-timers in our shop. Of course, we are all different age. There are housewife, university students, part-time worker and so on. I am almost with my friends who are the same age as me when I am in my university. So I think that it is very good experience for me to work with older and junior. I can hear about their various opinions. These are all benefit me. Also I can learn a lot of thing from them.

By the way, we can talk many things with each other. We often talk about our part-time job, because we have a lot of things to do. So we think the easiest way to do our jobs. Also we talk other things with each other for example, work, friends, love, future and so on. When I am worried, they always give me good advises. I appreciate it.

We sometimes hang out together. We like drinking so we often go drinking. My part-time work mates are all talkative and funny people. So I like drinking with them very much. Also drinking with them is one of my many pleasures.

A Christmas season will come soon so we are very busy recently. However, I cooperate with them in to do our work. If I did not work for the cake shop, I may have not met them. I think it was a casual meeting because we are different age, different hometown and different school. Lastly, I like them very much.

My friend's birthday

My friends and I held a birthday party for chisato who is one of my friends today. Her birthday is November 6, but we were busy the day. So we held birthday party today. We went to BOOTH. Do you know the bar? It is a very good bar, because it is a bar with a good atmosphere. We ate Caesar salad, broiled chicken, pasta, fried chicken and so on. They were all delicious. We enjoyed eating and drinking. Also we enjoyed talking. I let them know how I have been getting along on. I talked about cell phones and computers with my classmate in the speaking class. I talked with Yui about the theme too. So I am going to write about it.

I like cell phones, because they are very useful. I have two cell phones. They are docomo and softbank. Both of two have cameras. I can make telephone calls free when I use softbank cell phone. I usually make telephone calls two times every day. Do you know “Tadatomo”? It is very useful for people who talk by cell phone a long time. I talk with my friends by cell phone every day. So I spent a lot of money on charge of cell phone before. However I can talk with my friends free! Maybe, I send twenty e-mails every day. I spend on it \12,000 every month. I first had my own cell phone when I was in the third year of junior high school. My favorite points of my cell phone are color and shape. My cell phone is white and very cute shape. The most expensive charge for my cell phone was \20,000. By the way, do you like to use picture writings in e-mails? I like to use them very much, because they are very cute. I especially like docomo’s picture writings. So I use docomo’s cell phone for a long time. I have used my cell phone about one year. To change the subject, I like softbank’s CM. A dog plays father in the CM. It is very funny and the dog become popular in Japan. Have you ever watched the CM at least once, haven’t you? I like computers, because they are very convenient. I do not have my own computer, but my family uses a computer together. I use it for get information that I want to know and do my assignments. I do not send e-mails by the computer.

Yui likes cell phones, because they are convenient and she can get a lot of information. She has a cell phone. It is docomo and it has a camera. She makes one or two telephone calls every day. She sends ten or twenty e-mails every day. She spends on \10,000 every month. She first had her own cell phone when she was a high school student. Her favorite points of her cell phone are design and color. It is pink and design is cute. The most expensive charge for her cell phone was \12,000. She likes to use picture writing in e-mails, because she likes sends a lot of them. She has used her cell phone one and half years. She wants to buy new one. She likes computers so-so, because she is not good at use them. She uses a computer with her family, but she wants to have her own computer. She uses it for homework and sends e-mails. MR 2-01: Mrs. Doubtfire

I watched “Mrs.Doubtfire”. This is a comedy movie, but I think it is not only comedy movie but also humanism movie. There are some themes in this movie for example love, family, human nature, bond, children and so on. I think love and family are more important than the other themes. So I am going to write about these themes.

I thought that this story is very interesting and humor when I watched it for the first time. Daniel Hillard who is a main character of this story has a sense of humor. I laughed when I watched his behavior. He was disguised in woman’s clothes. At first sight, his behavior seems crazy. However this story also taught me importance of family and love. Daniel divorced his wife and he had a light to meet his children only once a week. He loves his children so he tried to meet them more often. Also his children love him. Although they are family but they cannot live together. However, he is bound to his children by ties of family. There is a feeling of hospitality in this movie.

I think love is one of the themes of this story. Daniel did not find a steady job. On the other hand, his wife is a career woman. They live a life without talking but they have affection each other. They may considerate of each other even if they got divorced.

I think “Family” is another one of the most important themes of this story. Daniel’s wife divorced him. They have two daughters and a son, but they cannot live together in the future. There are a lot of shapes of family for example a fatherless family, a motherless family, a family that does not have a blood relative and so on. They may have some problems, but they are tightly bound together by family ties. Daniel always loves his children and always thinking them. He did not get along with his wife, but he loves his wife. The massage that I got from this movie about this theme is importance of family. I live with my father, mother, and a younger brother. I thought it is a common shape of family before, but now, I think that I am happy because we can live together. In the movie, Mrs.Doubtfire works in Hillard’s house as a housekeeper. When Mrs. Doubtfire was in the house, his children and his ex-wife looked so happy. Also he was happy too.

This movie made a deep impression on me. When I finished watching this movie, I think it is a heart-warming story. I felt various feelings such as interest, heartrending sorrow and so on. I like Daniel’s sense of humor very much. He often set me laughing with his humor. Also he taught me many important things. I found that ties of family bind family even if they cannot live together. I enjoyed watching this movie very much. After finished watching this movie, I think that I have to take care of my family.

I think one of the themes of this movie is Love. He loves his family very much. Also his children love him too. He gets a divorce from his wife so he couldn't meet his children enough. So he tries to get a new job to meet his children more often. He works hard to do new job, because he wants to meet his children. Why does he work hard? Because he loves his children. He can't adapt himself to society easily.

She started save money when she entered KGU, because she wants to study abroad. She usually spends on her wage on buying clothes, because she likes shopping. She has a VISA card. If I gave her 10,000 yen, she would buy clothes, chocolate and ice cream because she likes shopping and sweets.

My room is a very comfortable place for me. On the one hand I can spend by myself when I don’t want to talk with other people. In the situation, atmosphere of my room are very quiet and mild. I like the atmosphere, because I can be lost in thoughts. Also I need not attentive to other people. On the other hand I sometimes invite my friends in my room. In the situation, atmosphere of my room are very noisy and busy. I also like the atmosphere, because I can omit to think worries and so on. Also I can have a nice time.

My house is located on near my alma mater. The high school is about a ten minutes walk from my house. So I can look my alma mater from porch of my room. I liked my high school very, very much. I remember my high school days when I hear voice of student who do club activity.

I do various activities in my room when I have a free time for example listening music, watching DVDs, sleeping, reading magazines, calling on my friends and so on. I like to watch movies so I often watch DVDs in my room. Also I like to call on my friends so I often call on my friends a long time. The hours go quickly when I do these activities. I can kill hours in my room easily when I have a free time.

Fireworks

I went to fireworks display with my boyfriend. It took place in Yatsushiro. We went there by train, because there was an enormous traffic the way to Yatsushiro last year. However, the train was very crowded too. We arrived at Yatsushiro station around 6 p.m. We walked to ground from the station. We arrived there before the fireworks display start. There were a lot of people already. The fireworks display was very, very wonderful. I was moved it. We left the ground early, because we wanted to go back Kumamoto city smoothly. We could arrive at Kumamoto 10 p.m. Then we went to Joyful to eat dinner, because we didn’t eat dinner yet. We had a nice time today. I want to go fireworks display next year too.
