Golden Week plans

I will have a part-time job May 3 and May 4. I have to work ten hours day. I will be very tired those two days. Next day, I am going to hang out with my friend. I am planning to go his home. I am looking forward to meeting him. I have not met him since two months ago. Last day I want to clean my room. I want to enjoy this Golden Week.

BR 1-02: The Lost Key

I read “The Lost Key”. It was written by Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta. I chose this book because this book’s illustrations are very cute. I like them very much. So I wanted to read this book.

A main character of this book is Kipper. He is a boy who he has blond hair. He has a key. It is a magic key. But it had not glowed for a long time. Kipper possibly wanted a magic adventure. So he tried to glow it. He put it in his pocket. But he lost it when he went shopping with his mother. A little time later, he realized that he lost the key. Next day, he went and looked for the key with his friends. He asked many people if they had seen the key. At last, he found it. He wanted the key to glow. But it did not glow for a long time. But it suddenly began to glow when he fell asleep.

This story was interesting. I thought that Kipper has many good friends. They help Kipper to look for the key. If he looked for the key by himself, he may not find the key. I learned that it is important to have good friends from this story.

Part-time job

I had a part-time job from three o'clock to nine o'clock. I work at cake shop that name is Takarabune. I have worked since last June. When I was unfamiliar with the job, I was very tired mentally every time. I got confused about the job because I did not know what to do. Also I had to memorize a lot of things. For example, prices of cakes, how to make cream puff, the cake's name and so on. It was very hard for me. But now, I accustomed myself to doing the job. I like service industry.

I went to school to take a course about traveling business. I took three classes today. It was difficult for me to memorize a lot of tourist attractions in geography lessons. I am going to do my best to pass the exam!!!

After school, I went to Dotonbori to eat okonomiyaki with my friend. There were many kinds of okonomiyaki. I chose mochi and cheese okonomiyaki. It was very delicious.

Today, I took speaking class and kokusaisyakaitonihon class.

In the speaking class, we talked about our hobbies. My hobby is to go shopping. I often go shopping in town. I like to go shopping by oneself because I do not need to attntive to my friends. I always take a lot of time to choose which clothes I will buy. When I am puzzled about which to choose, I talk to shop staffs because I am a very indecisive person. I also like to hang out with my friends. My friends and I often go karaoke center. We enjoy singing many kinds of songs. Once, we spent nine hours in karaoke center. I was very tired then.

After school, Ayumi and I went to town. First, we went to NEWS and PARCO to buy clothes. I wanted to buy short pants but there were no short pants that I like. So I did not buy anything. Next, we met my friends. We had a dinner together. They are Denpa technical college students. I heard about their school life. Their school is different from general high school. When I was a high school student, I was in a general course. So I am very interested in technical college. We enjoyed talking and drinking. After that, we went to karaoke center. I enjoyed it very much. I want to hang out them again.

BR 1-01: Newspaper Chase

I read “Newspaper Chase.” It was written by John Escott. I will introduce this story roughly.

Harry Black is a main character of this story. He is a thief. One night, he comes in an art gallery. He is going to steal a painting. The painting has a million dollars in value. He finds the painting and takes it from its frame. When he runs away from the art gallery, he makes a mistake. He breaks a beautiful blue glass vase. Then, he steps on a piece of glass. He lives with Mrs. Allen and her daughter whose name is Janey. When he returns from the art gallery, Allen and Janey are sleeping. He hides the painting in a newspaper. Then, he puts the newspaper under his bed. In the morning, Janey is in the kitchen. She watches TV. A reporter talking about the painting and the blue glass vase. Then, Harry is not in his room. Janey is looking for old newspapers to recycle. In Harry’s room, she finds a newspaper under Harry’s bed. She gives it to a man who drives recycling truck. Then, Harry comes back to the house. He finds that Janey gives the newspaper to a man. Recycling truck is running. He chases after the truck. He stopped the truck and he looks for the newspaper. Then, Janey finds some blue glass in Harry’s shoe. She thinks that he is a thief. She calls the police immediately. The policeman catches Harry. Janey gets a reward.

I enjoyed reading this story. I could read easily. I thought Janey is a sharp person. I want to try reading more difficult story next.

Today,I met my best friends. There are 5 people . Haruko, Chisato, Misa, Erika and me. We graduated Kumamoto Kita high school last year. When we were high school students, we can meet everyday and we enjoy talking,but now we can not meet frequently because Erika has lived in Tokyo from last year. She sometimes goes back to Kumamoto during vacation. When she goes back to Kumamoto, we meet each other.

It was very delicious. I ate until my stomach distends. Next, we went to Tenjin underground shopping arcade. We bought pierced earrings. We enjoyed shopping far into the night.
